Live life to the fullest as you age
We all want to remain as independent, active and self-sufficient as possible as we age. Rural Resources helps older adults and those who care about them do just that through programs including:
Information and assistance: With one call to 509-684-3932 or 800-873-5889, individuals 60 years and older and their caregivers can get information, assistance, referrals and answers to questions about living life to the fullest.
Case management: Personal attention to help disabled and frail adults achieve and maintain their maximum possible level of health and independence. Our trained case managers will meet with you to conduct a comprehensive assessment of your needs, work with you to develop an individual plan of care, and help you reach your care goals.
Meal programs: Nutrition and social interaction.
Transportation: Free bus service for seniors and the disabled.
Caregiver support: Family caregiver support is designed to help unpaid caregivers and those they care for so they may maintain an in-home caregiving situation for as long as possible. Respite care, provided in your home or at other locations, offers relief for family or other unpaid caregivers of disabled adults ages 18 and older. And our Kinship Navigator provides information, assistance and referral for grandparents and other relatives caring for minor relatives.
