Family Support Center of Stevens County If you or someone you know is in an abusive situation, or if you have been a victim of any other crime, you are not alone! Rural Resources Family Support Center serves more than 350 new victims of crime each year in Stevens County, helping them and their families find the safety and support they need to recover and move forward. All our services are free and confidential.
- A 24-hour help line where trained volunteers and staff are ready to help all victims of crime every hour of the day, every day of the year
- Temporary safe shelter for domestic violence victims
- Crisis intervention with trained staff and volunteers who can listen and care, assist with safety planning, and help with options and resources
- Information about and referral to other services, such as legal or financial assistance, counseling, housing, employment and medical resources
- Therapy services through contracted qualified therapists (Services are available only by referral and based on availability of funding.)
- Assistance with court orders to help victims gain legal protection by filing restraining orders
- Legal and medical advocacy
- Community education and training to prevent domestic violence and sexual assault
